WHAT IS IT?

APRENDER A VIVIR is an educational project prepared to teach basic shared human values across the curriculum in elementary education. It seeks to show young children, ages 7 to 12, how we all need to make the effort to better understand each other, to build up, together, in a respectful and responsible manner, a more interdependent and more deeply human world.

All the material in the series is in Spanish.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

APRENDER A VIVIR is a series of complementary books and materials. It does not substitute but rather expands on the existing curriculum. It reinforces positive, upbeat, and hopeful moral and ethical education.

WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS?

APRENDER A VIVIR offers the following materials:

1.- Six graded levels. One volume per level. First and second level of intermediate / secondary school are out. More to come.
2.- Five areas per book for each level: Art, Education, Environment, Language, Literature, and Mathematics.
3.- Six "Didactic Packages" with a wealth of educational materials for the teacher (each package linked to a level).

ACTIVITIES FOR PARENTS:
"Parents Teach Too:" With the "Didactic Package," the teacher will find a wide selection of materials and activities for parents.
